BuildBoards
Buildboards are recommendations by professionals and product vendors based on the HomeWork exercises you have taken. For example, you might receive BuildBoards about appliances after you complete the My Kitchen exercise.
More Info Popups
Clicking the green More Info button opens a pop-up (see below) filled with useful information relevant to your project, your life choices or your personality. More Info boxes also display rich media like video or websites about subjects that interest you.
Working With My Projects
You can create a project for anything you want to work on! Simply click the Create a New Project button on the Things To Do column in your Truehome Notebook.
Or, click Add to My Projects on the bottom right of any Building Block to open a dialog box for creating a new project or adding a Building Block to an existing project.
Your new project will appear on the light blue My Projects bar on your My Projects page as seen below. Click the "open" button and you can invite team members, set privacy settings and more.
The key to spending your money wisely on any project is making choices that provide the greatest long-term satisfaction. Save your must-haves to My Projects, and collaborate with pros to make better decisions about your real-world project.
Inviting Pros to Collaborate on a Project
Our Professional Matching Service allows you to find and invite professionals to interview for possible collaboration on a project.
Take a short Find a Pro exercise and describe your project. Search for the type of professional you need in the search box at the top of the Professionals page. Review their ProFiles. If they interest you, invite them to view your My Projects page and interview for a place on your Truehome team.
Your Invitation appears on the invited pro's ToolKit. Only your username is displayed, so you remain anonymous until you have accepted a pro.
You can then interview several pros and sample their services to find the one you like best. Appoint them your Project Team Leader and get to work making your dreams a reality.
Creating a project gives you access to a basic My Projects ToolKit. Designating an accepted pro as project Team Leader gives your entire team access to that pro's more advanced project toolkit.
